What can I claim for?

How a personal injury claim works

The solicitor takes the case

They review your medical records, arrange any independent medical assessment needed, and submit a formal claim to the at-fault driver's insurer. You sign a no-win-no-fee agreement.

Compensation paid

If the claim succeeds, the at-fault insurer pays compensation directly to you. The solicitor takes a fee (typically up to 25% under the standard CFA model). If the claim fails, you pay nothing.

Important time limit

3 years from the date of the accident

Under the Limitation Act 1980, you generally have 3 years from the date of the accident (or the date you first became aware of the injury, whichever is later) to start a personal injury claim. Don't wait. Call us as soon as you can after the accident so we can refer you to a solicitor early in the timeline.

How the referral works

How injury claims are handled

Easy Car Claims is a Claims Management Company (CMC). Personal injury claims themselves are handled by specialist solicitors on our referral panel — not by us directly. This is the standard model in the UK accident management industry.

When we refer you to a solicitor, you'll receive their no-win-no-fee agreement before any work starts. You can choose not to proceed at any point before signing. We may receive a referral fee from the solicitor — this does not affect the compensation you receive or the cost to you.
